Gerry's over forty years of experience in project management, business process re-engineering, operations, asset management, technical services, and commissioning are greatly advantageous to our clients.
Gerry has an intuitive understanding of our clients’ issues: long-term life cycle costs, risk mitigation, reliability, and the necessity for sound, objective advice and works hard to address them all. Gerry has been responsible for commissioning and technical services on every project type, including educational, institutional, health care facilities, mission critical applications, IT, industrial facilities and recreational projects.
He has honed his management skills and accumulated vast knowledge at CIMCO Refrigeration, Isotherm Engineering, Dimax Controls, Trane, Ontario Hydro, and Schlumberger; all national and international leaders in their respective marketplaces of Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC), industrial refrigeration, sustainable and energy-efficient markets and the service environment. Above all, he has learned to welcome every challenge as a problem-solving opportunity.
With a varied education and career path that includes both hands-on and formal education; and solid tenures in the electrical and mechanical disciplines, Gerry brings a wide breadth of experience to all teams and projects.
Gerry received his Bachelor of Engineering Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Western Ontario, and Electrical Technician Diploma from Fleming College. In addition to this formal education, Gerry is accredited as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with P.E.O. and a Building Commissioning Professional (BCxP) with ASHARE, and holds a LEED® Accredited Professional designation.
