This modern 145,000 sq. ft. secondary school included two large gymnasia, daycare facilities, 40 classes, site development, common spaces, etc. Energy efficient design was very important to York Region Board of Education. Our design was the first in the area to use an indirect lighting source for classroom lighting and compact fluorescent units. A heat pump loop system provides an efficient source of both heating and cooling to the school. M & E Construction Costs: $5 Million.
