We provided the electrical design services in Joint Venture with the NORR Ltd. for the new Atlantis project on Palm Island in the United Arab Emirates.  The resort will include a 1,500 room 5-star hotel (1,549,440 sq. ft.), an 800 room 4-star hotel (756,420 sq. ft.) and a 65 acre Water Park and Retail Village (800,000 sq. ft.). The hotels include public areas, gourmet and buffet restaurants, lounges, bars and a spa. They are linked by a Conference Centre (100,000 sq. ft.) containing multiple meeting rooms, a formal ballroom and associated support functions. Electrical characteristics include a demand of 80 MW of normal power with a back-up plant of 20 MW.
