Crossey Engineering Ltd. provided the Mechanical Design, site servicing including storm water management and commissioning for the Four Seasons Performing Arts Centre located in downtown Toronto. This 383,000 sq.ft. facility is the home of the Canadian Opera Company and the performance venue for the National Ballet of Canada. The 2,100 seat performance hall has exceptional acoustics and has been designed to meet an N1 noise criteria. To meet the N1 criteria the noise generated by the mechanical systems within the Hall must be quieter than the threshold of hearing for the human ear. The project included the main hall, dressing rooms, rehearsal hall, dance studio, kitchen, lobbies and a 400 car parking garage located below the hall. Total Construction Value: $181 Million.
