Crossey Engineering Ltd. provided the Mechanical Design for this $63.5 Million design build project that is located at the intersection of Hurontario Street and County Court Boulevard in Brampton, Ontario. This project is a 6-storey building with a mechanical penthouse and one basement level. The building houses thirty-four courtrooms, eight motion rooms, judges' chambers, holding cells, administration offices and public areas. The Mechanical Design included for a heated parking garage, special sound attenuation for systems serving courtrooms, central chilled water, steam humidification, and boiler plant. The control system design included for carbon dioxide monitoring to ensure sufficient ventilation standards were met, while avoiding the energy penalties of over ventilation.
