Crossey Engineering designed the mechanical and electrical services for this newly constructed building on the University of Windsor Campus. The 30,000 sq.ft. building is the home of the Faculty of Dramatic Arts. Within the building there are four large studios for Movement, Drama, Acting and Voice studies, a Studio Theatre designed for an audience of up to 150 people, locker rooms and administration offices. The Four Studios and Studio Theatre are considered noise critical spaces and they were designed to meet stringent acoustical standards. Special attention was paid to the selection of the air handling equipment, air distribution and lighting systems to ensure that these standards were achieved. The M&E Construction Costs were $2.8 million. Completion: 2003 Architect: Diamond and Schmitt Architects Inc.
