Princess of Wales is a prestigious 2,050 seat theatre which was privately funded and constructed in downtown Toronto. The facility has an orchestra level with two balcony levels, and three levels of parking integrated below. The project was challenging in that initial design and budgeting had to proceed, while retaining flexibility in the mechanical and electrical systems for refinement with the final interior designs. The project was constructed in a tight time frame and opened on schedule. We were awarded the prestigious Edwin F. Guth Award of Excellence for the design of the house lighting system.
