Crossey Engineering Ltd. provided Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Consulting Services for the interior restructuring and retrofit of three historically significant structures, identified as Building G, I & K. As well, a renovation of approximately 5,600 sq.ft. of Building H which was restructured in 2004. These structures are part of an eleven building complex at 21 Colonel Samuel Smith Park Blvd. in the City of Toronto, comprising the easternmost portion of Humber Institute's Lakeshore Campus. Originally Constructed in the late 1890's for administrative and dormitory use of the Lakeshore Psychiatric Hospital, the exteriors of then of these structures were restored in 1992. The eleventh building, housing Humber's theatre arts programming, was built in 1972 and renovated in 1995. This project will represent Phase 8 in the ongoing conversion of the former hospital site for use as a 21st century educational facility. Completion: 2009 Architect: Taylor/Hazell Architects
