Helena Szymanski, BAA, SDA

Sr. Associate, Comptroller

Helena is responsible for all financial aspects of Crossey Engineering Ltd.'s business. She has oversight and management of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting as well as Project Accounting, Accounts Receivable and Payable, General Ledger, and Payroll.

Since joining Crossey in 1982 Helena has seen the firm grow from 17 to 140 employees. In that time she has worked closely with the Principals to implement the financial and accounting systems and processes that help keep engineering projects on track.

Helena holds a Bachelor of Applied Arts and a Certificate in Accounting - Finance, both from Ryerson University. She is the Past President of the Society of Design Administration (SDA) Canada, which promotes education and best practices in management and professional standards of design firm personnel.
