Clive R. Lacey, P. Eng., PE, LEED AP

Clive has been a driving force behind the growth of Crossey Engineering Ltd. into one of Canada's premier mechanical engineering firms. His long list of successful projects includes award-winning high-profile buildings as well as technically demanding facilities. He has been instrumental in establishing CEL Gruen, a Crossey affiliate, as a leader in integrated, sustainable and renewable engineering practices. Committed to preserving the earth's environment since he embraced the "small is beautiful" movement as a teenager, he takes a hands-on, common sense approach, advising clients on the most cost- effective, energy-efficient solutions.

Since joining Crossey in 1981 and assuming leadership of Mechanical Engineering in 1989, Clive has provided hands-on expertise to a broad range of projects: healthcare, educational, performing arts, long-term care, justice, and pharmaceutical. His successful growing of the Mechanical Engineering division is due in part to his active leadership. Mentor, communicator, and facilitator, he encourages the transfer of knowledge as a basic Crossey principle, to great client advantage.

Clive is a Professional Engineer and LEED^® Accredited Professional, and holds a Bachelor of Science (Engineering) from Queen's University.
